2011 Chinese New Year approaching soon, just gather moods to post some red packets that I have collected so far…

The most kawaii: was surprise to find a pack of red packet inside Feb issue of Women’s Weekly magazine.

Another kawaii: the lucky cat from Tampines, only managed to get the 2nd week design here.

The Rabbit theme for the rabbit year from Tangs.

The Vivo City design is nothing special except the envelope that housed the red packet is rather unique as shown below.

The gold rabbit theme design from CentrePoint Malls- look carefully and you will see a pair of rabbit surrounded by the flowers design.

Nothing so special from Carrefour.

Another common design from chain supermarket NTUC Fair Price.

Went to 313@Somerset Food Republic last Saturday and tried the Ramen at a stall called "Go!Go!Curry ". Guess it is famous for its’ curry but since I am a die-hard fan of ramen, I ordered a bowl of it. It was a bit salty but yummy!

Free Gyoza with ramen ordered.

Well, a long break during Christmas last year and followed by 1 week break during Chinese New Year, here are some brief updates….

– Done one advertising related web site but not updated on my portfolio site because owner has not officially launched the site
– Designing Easter theme for a Danish client, ongoing..
– Designing virtual restaurant in Facebook Restaurant City, but.. getting a bit bored
– Browsing fashion online shop repeatedly yet forbidding my finger to add items into the shopping cart

Oh no, it is already March 2010! Hmm, just a little updates to let the world know that I have not fainted but going into hibernation, for a while…

I have been sick for the past 2 weeks, fever for almost the entire last week, plenty of phlegm in throat and hard to cough it out. Sigh, very tired but still managed to complete a new web design project. I know my blog is “lagging” behind a lot. Ah……..

Recently has been rather addictive about the games in Facebook, especially Restaurant city. Building up the interior of the restaurant is kind of fun, sort of fulfilling my interior design dream.

Anyone fan of this game?

It has been quite some time since the last update of my blog, I know, I know. I am evaluating on a new project lately and kind of my longest preliminary evaluation phase. On and off I have been taking in little new tasks here and there, browsing the net, reading Smashing Magazine, watching YouTube and listening to my favorite music on iTunes. Recent big news is the ongoing Swine flu epidemic which “forces” to me to cancel my 2nd Japan trip on June just for the safety of my family. Looking into the death toll in Mexico indeed make my heart sink, wish that the H1N1 virus will soon rest in peace.

This much for now…. and last but not least, just for sharing, a nice piece of artwork from deviantArt by gigi4g.

Have been a little dated in updating this blog. Away for a 2 weeks holiday in Malaysia and back now with a design job and couple of ongoing queries. Guess will stay busy till after the New Year, wish everybody an early Happy New 2009!

It has been quite a while since I last updated my blog. Well, I was rather busy designing quite a number of Zen-cart template designs for a regular Danish client in the past 3 months. Then I fell sick for nearly a month till now(but still working on projects), coughing badly and fever for 3 to 4 days, antibiotics and paracetamol are 2 of my newly found best friends,

Every week when I think I am finally getting better, the cough and fever would just come back to attack me again and whole cycle repeats itself, till this week. Seen doctor twice and even tried TCM(Traditional Chinese medicine), still drinking bitterly Chinese medicine at the time being, 3 times a day. Sigh, what a bug, what a life…

Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008 Part 2

Next were the pictures taken from Devilrobots, a design team of five from Japan which led by the art director Shinichiro Katai.

Devilrobots specializes in graphics and character designs and the most popular character of their is To-Fu Oyako as shown in pictures below.

The front left is the To-Fu for Tokidoki.

An adorable 16" Gum To-Fu.

What a colorful wall of Devilrobots creation.

There are some other toys by Devilrobots which I have seen from other booths as shown below.

Next was the comic artist Gary Erskine from UK.

Madcap is a platform devoted to aritstic conception and collectable objsects.
